MCB to Launch Fully Online MBA Program

The University of Northern Colorado has selected Academic Partnerships (AP), a leading comprehensive online service provider, to expand access to the Monfort College of Business’s . AP specializes in assisting public universities with converting campus-based programs into an online format while also leading efforts to recruit, enroll and retain those students, in addition to faculty training and support.
In a letter to the campus community, Monfort College Dean Paul Bobrowski explained, “This move accelerates and amplifies our efforts to increase access to our MBA program—across Colorado and beyond. Students seeking a learning experience that balances theory with practice taught by top faculty, entrepreneurs and business practitioners will, I predict, find our MBA program to be a challenging, affordable and convenient option.”
A team from Academic Partnerships is working closely with faculty and staff at ˾ to prepare for a late April launch of the marketing effort. The first cohort will begin classes in August of this year. Additional details are below.
More about the online Monfort MBA
- The first cohort of online MBA students will begin their coursework in August of 2018. The application for graduate programs at ˾ will go live in April and admission decisions will continue to be made by the college and Graduate School.
- ˾ courses will be taught by faculty in the Monfort College of Business, which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in the 2018-2019 academic year.
- All courses will be delivered online and via ˾’s existing course management software, Canvas.
- Monfort Professor Don Gudmundson will direct the new online MBA program.
- The MBA program at ˾ is currently delivered exclusively on the Greeley campus. All current MBA students will be transitioned to the online program.
